Some traditions are more cultural than religious love the Greek orthodox traditions..I was brought up Catholic but am not practising Catholic anymore....

We did have smoked salmon for lunch and after reading this thread I went fish & chips last night. Waited 25 mins but it was not a big deal.

I am not at all into Easter celebrations but we will see the family Easter Sunday and have an Italian feast so why not...

No way I could give up all meat during Lent, but I am happy to do my bit on Good Friday.....fish is fine, but all other meat including chicken is out.

So we had steamed fish with garlic and lemon, alongside home made wedges .... our version of Fish and Chips. Yum!
