You could make napkin rings with the logo...

this is a great idea! You should be able to enlarge a logo from their website and print it out to use as a template.

Two parties are a big ask!

The asian one I would keep simple and stick to asian colours. Red and gold. Maybe google Chinese New Year decorations as you are ushering in a new period (= new year) in M18s life.

Its a shame that the ANU colours are so boring total opposite to asian celebrations The only thing you could re-use is white crockery!

The spanash one i would do in school colours, if they suit.

Another option might be to use the logo to create a stencil with your cooking. Im imagining possible flour or icing sugar dusted over the template or even chocolate fudge on the base of a plate in that shape with an interesting small desert atop or to the side. Bit kitschy but fun none the less.

Good luck with the party JA. I am sure that M18 will love it no matter what you do. I hope that the day is really special for you all and even if you do use the tissues ( which somehow I think you will ) I hope that you will also use them to mop up the tears from laughter that you will also have on the day.

I hope there will be lots of laughter Clare1.
Great ideas. Not sure if I can do it with the desserts we have planned but I love the idea.
The napkin rings is very doable. I will have to google diy napkin rings.
