CindyH go knock on the door. I do it all the time. Actually that was how I found our house colour. I have never had anyone be offended when I have asked. Sometimes they had bought the house after it was painted so didn't know. But nothing ventured - nothing gained. Let us know what they say. If they can't help you take a picture of the house and maybe we can give you an idea of what colour it is.

Hi CindyH, we are building & our roof will be woodland grey with paperbark on the walls. We already have the shed in these colours & want to keep on the same colourscheme. There has recently been a house done in this colourscheme in the street I rent in & it looks great!

CindyH - how did your house end up? We've got woodland roof with bushland gutter/facia (bushland looks terrible - we think we'll repaint it) and black windows. Having a hell of a time trying to pick a render colour thats not too yellow/brown/grey

Hi rbuerckner welcome to the Decorating Forum.
Picking exterior colours is so difficult. I think the only way to feel 100% sure is if it you see it on an existing house.
Do you have an image of the front of your home? We can make some suggestions if you like.
