Default Egg Pod

I know this isn't a new product but I'm in love with my silicon egg pods for poaching eggs. I picked up 2 egg pods from a kitchen store for $20 last week. And they are terrific. I keep all the egg white tightly around the yolk. It poaches them to perfection. I poach the eggs for 5.30mins to get the runny but not too runny consistency.
Do you love poached eggs? I'm the only one in my family- oh well at least I don't have to share my great new kitchen gadget

I love verging on hard yolk eggs Julie-Ann, do they tell you how long to cook to get the desired egg or is it trial and error.

They say to cook for 4-6 mins. So I would try 6 mins and maybe use a knife to break through the egg white to see how runny it is.
It's up there with the apple slicer as my all time favourite Elements.
I would tell you I am a simple gal and easily pleased but... I have just told DH what I want for Christmas and he is stunned at the price

And what do you want for Christmas Julie Ann.....How many zeros??
I love eggs, poached is the way to go, rummy but not raw..I have looked at the poachers and wondered how good they were....Channelling Di Fisher now...what colours do they come in?
Do you any of the ladies like those naughty rich sauces you have on eggs? Florentine, hollandaise scroog...whats the name of that other one..Bendedict!! That's it!. The prices at the cafe always look expensive when they mention the sauces for eggs.

I do have some concerns about the silicon too but they say it is perfectly safe. Mine are green Cath. Yes if someone could whip up some Hollandaise sauce for me that would be lovely.
I said I wanted the mopping version of my robot vacuum cleaner for only $780. It is for my birthday and Christmas so less than $400 for each present. That's not too much right?. I got a big fat no from DH.

Have you considered getting it from the US Julie-Ann? I've been looking at roomba and it is significantly cheaper than here. But I won't be getting it until we move into our new house. Don't really need it in our small rental

Good point Thisisme. I would have to use a transformer but that's no big deal. I will check it out- thanks.
