Dining nook
I think I got it right at last. After Dh and I not being able to agree on a new dining table I found one that we both liked. It was $400 off at Provincial Home Living. The table is natural oak and I have added black cross backed chairs.
The black brings out the black we have in the timber floor.
I have attached a before and after shot.

I think the furniture works really well with the floors.
