Not too hard at all, truly. Just time consuming.
I also made sure I was kid free to do it so I could concentrate.
I have blogged the whole process here: http://giggleberrycreations.blogspot.com/2010/08/decal-tree.html

Yes there are loads of neat trees at Esty however the really nice designs are not cheap. Just check out this search: http://www.etsy.com/search_results.p...e=all&includes[]=materials&search_query=removable_vinyl

When you consider the exchange rate, that we are paying GST (funds Australian schooling, hospitals, etc) buying locally even if the products have been imported is still an option to be considered. Especially when you can build a relationship with our small business Australian online stores compared to places like Amazon where you are another number.
For those of you following Julie-Ann and the saga of the mat - it is much easier to phone or contact an Australian to resolve problems.

Very good point Decorheaven. I waited over 30 minutes for the live chat to connect. Then I seemed to be going around in circles with the person from the rug company assuming I had chosen the wrong rug- not that I received a faulty rug. Then I phoned and it was so much easier to just chat to the chap about the problem

And we do removable stickers or there are theme rooms if you want an alternative look. The most popular currently is the scroll tree. This one uses the scroll tree and the Build a House Removable Stickers.
RMK1438SLM-RMK1439SLM-room.jpg I think your original image you liked was very large. While it is hard to do this in Australia at a reasonable price I thought you might like to see this lucky girl with parts of 3 trees put together. http://bit.ly/9yq78q.
