Well done Rosie. That salad will be worth it when you can indulge guilt free on the weekend

Day 2 Week 2 done . But I just looked at Week 3 . You have to do 90 sec running - 90sec walking - 3min jogging - 3min walking. Jog 3minutes . I may have to do Week 2 for 2 weeks. Did anyone else find it hard to go to Week 3?

That's fabulous Trish . But be sure your flu and asthma is fine first. We don't want a relapse.

How's it been going Julie-Ann.
You have inspired me to get back into it. I too, really need to.
So I jumped straight to week 3 today and did 5 mins warm-up walk, then 3 mins jog, 3 mins walk for around 45 minutes, then walked another 15 to get back to my car !
My legs feel a bit weary tonight, but I feel good. I forgot how much I actually enjoy it - after it's finished of course !!
The dog will be so happy if I can keep it up.

Oh my Cherylle talk about diving in the deep end . Did you do running before?
I am proud to say I got back on today after a busy few days. So today was Day 3 Week 2. I am a bit nervous about Week 3 so I was thinking of doing 2min running and 2 min walking tomorrow. Of course I have lost no weight but my cellulite is disappearing .

You can do it J-A. It's amazing at how hard it looks when you look to the next week, but once you've done it, you'll look back at previous weeks and think how easy it was. I was never a runner and hardly ever exercised and made it up to a 20 minute run. I was literally going from the couch to 5kms. Obviously I never quite made the 5kms but pregnancy will do that to you.

Yes, I did this very same programme 18 months ago, and got to the point of being able to jog for 10kms. (Only flat ground - no hills!)
I have never been a runner, so for me to achieve that was amazing.
The good thing is now I can jog easily for 3 minutes, where last year I struggled at the start.
I found once I got to the point of being able to jog for 30 minutes, after that I felt like I could just keep on running.
What got me started was reading a magazine about a girl who decided to run the New York marathon and the training she did. I thought it was inspiring and would love to run that too - except oops, I couldn't run around the block. So I thought I would train in readiness for the City to Surf 2010, and got to the point of being able to do it, but as luck would have it, that particular week in my life was one of those weeks, and I ended up not running, but to know that I could have done it was enough for me.

I can't even imagine I will be running more than 30 minutes . But thanks for the encouragement. It's great to know that there is a chance I can achieve this .
