Default Christopher Pea**** cabinetry

Hi there,

My husband and I are looking to build a house this year. I have my heart set on a Christopher Pea**** kitchen but this may be a little tricky as obviously this in an American company. Aparantly he does work 'overseas' but there's no places specified on the website. Does anyone know if he can make custom units for here in Sydney? If not, which kitchen/cabinet making company does similar work to his? So far, 'Provincial Kitchens' and 'Scullery and Holz' seems to be the closest I can find.....

Thanks!

Oh Nooj I love Christoper P e a c o c K Cabinets.......... do you have a picture of the design you like.... I loved the one he did for Rockerfeller centre house of year in 2008....

I particularly like the unusual hinges on his designs...

Not sure which company does them in NSW..... but most companies will work with what you want if you know what you like...

Hi Nooj

These guys are looking pretty good with their design ideas. You may find a great up and coming kitchen designer will know of C.P. cabinetry and be able to emulate the designs you like.
Click the image to open in full size.
If it is the style of door and the turned edges that you particularly like, all cabinet makers will either do it in house or contract someone to do it for them. Generally the door is prefabricated and the cabinetmaker will either have it painted for you or cover it in your chosen vinyl or laminate or purchase them in timber for you
All cabinetmakers however are able to recreate most designs if they are reputable, you may not have to stick to compaies that only feature this style as their preferred style to make.

Just remembered I have had this kitchen on my love list......it was in Belle Magazine 2009....It reminds me of a CP kitchen...

Yes the company is in Melbourne but if they design what you like then I am sure they might supply to Sydney (I suppose for a fee)

Its the 9th line of pics down in gallery or picture 50.... I am not able to copy small enough for forum....

Default Nice!

I love the lovely wide timber floorboards in that kitchen. I woiuld have gone for a splashback with a bit more colour but love the timber end piece of the bench. I like the idea of the ladder but it is too busy with the lighting pictured. It would have to be one or the other, pendant lighting or the ladder, but not both.

I used to walk past the Scullery & Holz store regularly when I lived in Sydney and it was lovely - might be worth checking them out (although this was some time ago)
