Default Christmas Tablescapes

How are you planning on decorating your Christmas table? Have you planned anything yet?
I started playing around with this yesterday. I was going to do the http://www.decoratingforum.com.au/sh...iece-4544.htmlshown here under our DIY forum. But I couldn't find any glass candlesticks at a bargain price.
I then found this picture and I am using it for inspiration. Mine will have a little less on it, especially no pinecones. I have half the table set in the dining room as I experiment. But I need a few more pieces to add.

What have you planned for decorating your Christmas table?

JA- check Big W for candlesticks. They have had some great knock off ones for under $10 over the last couple of years. I would NEVER have thought of them - but you might get lucky!

Thanks for the tip Lanne. They must be the only store I didn't try as they are not close to us. I will try to get to them during the year and do that tablescape next year.

I am doing Christmas Eve... I have lots of bits and pieces but find the simplest arrangements the best and ROFL I produce my best work under pressure so I will see what I come up with......promising to take pics too...

Oh I am thinking of using my white tree I used for my sister's baby shower as a centerpiece......

Just like JA, I've been playing around with the dining table (tablescape) in readiness for Chrissy.

There's only 5 of us ... myself, DH, DD, DS and my mum so I don't have a lot of table to decorate ... but I'm pretty happy with it!!

Well done Jess. It is absolutely lovely. The balls with rhinestones look great. I am definitely going to have to do that next year.
