Default Castle Kitchen

Hi Julie,

So here are a few shots of my kitchen...

As you can probably see - we have a fairly contemporary home, with earthy tones and lots of space.

Benchtops:
Corian - Ricepaper 60mm Pencil round edge - 60mm Waterfall/slab ends to island.
40mm Solid Jarrah upstand top and lower table to the side (still need to design and have stools/seats made for the table)

Doors:
Flat Panel - 2 Pac painted doors to match Wilson Art - Alabaster

Appliances:
Oven, Microwave Oven, Steamer, Dishwasher -De Dietrich (Fantastic brand!)
Highland Cooktop - Gas & Electric (Oval-ish shaped)
Rangehood - Qasair - 'Majestic' 1000mm wide - Twin Motor

White Quartz Stone cladding to the Upstand and Table Leg.

As you can see - my kitchen is a little different to yours... Both definitely have their appeal

I'd love to know what you think....

WOW- it's stunning.
So many gorgeous features. I love the cladding and the feature of the wine bottles. I love the rangehood and the upper cabinets. And you picked all my favourite brands. I hope you cook a lot to deserve such a magnificent kitchen.
The house looks gorgeous too. Who did you build with?

Accent On Homes. Smallish builder in Canningvale...

They built to lock-up. We did alot after handover, Kitchen, Laundry, Timber Flooring, Carpets, etc etc....

I wasnt too happy with how we were treated by them, but all of my trades that have been since reckon the workmanship is pretty good, so cant complain too much I suppose... Isnt a cheap house though so you have to expect some level of good workmanship!

As for cooking... another funny question... Im not a very good cook.... My little joke - I can design Kitchens, I just dont know how to use them!! hahaha

Ummm same here. Not a great cook but love designing kitchens too .
But we better not tell anyone or they may not hire us.

At least by using a small builder you were allowed to finish a lot yourself. The bigger builders are not very receptive to that and you would never have got a kitchen as magnificent as that.
I can't wait to see the rest of the house

701Design, beautiful kitchen!! Very nicely done and I especially like your rangehood.

I love kitchens like this when you can see that they're high quality just from a few photos! Dream kitchen for sure.

Thanks Jenny...

The rangehood is definitely my fav rangehood... ever! Has such a stylish elegance about it yet extremely funky and simple!

I matched the cooktop to the curve in the rangehood and also my Jarrah upstand top has a curve on the front of it too... Very subtle design element, not many people notice it but i know its there, thats what makes me happy! ...
