Default Carluccio's Italian Restaurants - London

Carluccios is a chain of very nice Italian restaurants in the UK. To find a cafe check out there website here.
We had dinner at there recently refurbished South Kensington restaurant. The decor is stunning in mostly white and timber.
This place was packed when we walked past at 5.30pm so we made sure we booked for later in the evening. The food was superb. DH had Saltimbucco, Mr17 had Wild Boar ragu and I had their speciality
PENNE GIARDINIERA £8.25
Our own Pugliese penne with courgette,
chilli and deep fried spinach balls with
parmesan and garlic.

DH loved his Saltimbucco, Mr17 enjoyed the ragu but it didn't have much boar meat. Mine was fantastic.
I forgot to add we also had garlic bread to start which we voted the best garlic bread ever.
DH had Tiramisu which was yummy for dessert. Mr17 had choclate bread and butter pudding which was incredible.
The only complaint was they bought out our main meal before we had finished the garlic bread.
So here is our score:
Decor - 9/10
Service - 8/10 (the staff are lovely)
Food - I will give 9/10 for my meal
Very yummy and a must visit restaurant.

My Mum suggested this place and gave me the recipe for the fried spinach balls. Remind me when I get home and I will post it for you all.

I think it is owned by the chef you mentioned. This was on their website. Is it the same guy?

Lol I'm glad you clarified your idea of cuteness.
It's a very popular chain and all over London Rosie. Did you see he posts recipes on his site? The fried spinach balls are so yummmy.
