Default Cardboard Furniture

Have you seen this range of furniture made from cardboard? This company Karton featured their range of furniture on The Circle on Channel 10 this morning. It is European designed furniture, environmentally friendly, affordable flat pack furniture. You can paint it, varnish it or leave it as is. And if you are worried about it being strong enough - the reporter this morning laid on one of the tables. The table didn't even budge a bit.
What do you think? Did you check out the prices?

You are a tough woman to please Princess of the Bargains (sorry LDH is the Queen after those Bentwood chairs). I thought the prices were amazingly cheap.

I would only be that cheeky to you Rosie. I know you get my weird and wicked sense of humour.
I did laugh out loud when you said you were going to make your own furniture. The neighbours will wonder what is going on in here.

It does look like cardboard though - the coffee table just looks like a box - the storage stuff looks useful but I couldn't come at the furniture

What if you painted it Clp?
It is designed to be good for people who move house often. Probably aimed at the younger market who are renting for the first time.
