That's not a bath mat, that's a piece of art, Stormy! Where did you buy it?
The bathmat in our ensuite is like standing on a rug, thick and beautiful, and a bargain from Trade Secret! I've actually only washed it a couple of times, as I'm the only one using it and I dry it out every day. No mould, yet, yay!
As for the little people's bathroom - they are going through a 'water everywhere' stage, so we just use our designated floor towels for soaking up the water every night and then they go into the wash the next morning. There was a lovely bathmat in that bathroom, once upon a time...

That is stunning Stormy. It seems strange to be raving over a bathmat but that is gorgeous.

LOL, thanks Girls! It is a 'Morgan and Finch' one from Bed Bath 'N Table (one of my fav shops). I also have bought a few from Target and Spotlight, but with squares of different colours (white, brown and taupe).
My little people's bathroom usually has water splashed all over it too, and I'm constantly washing 'moping up' towels!

I had one of those wooden bath mats and I found that in between the slats would get mouldy. I now have a bath runner :-) It runs almost the full length of my bathroom between my shower and bath and then I have a smaller matching one for in front of the vanity. They are nice and thick and wash and wear really well.

Hi Stormy,
I don't usually get excited over bathmats but love yours. I'm always in Bed, Bath N Table but have not spotted one like it.
Your bathroom is divine. Can you please tell me what colour you have painted the walls?

I had my eyes on it for a while, one of my old ones started looking messy, so it was enough reason to buy it! Shame it wasn't on sale at the time...
The wall colour is by Bristol and called "Nomadic Ivory", and is painted full strength. Caesar Stone bench is "Ice Snow" and cupboards are Laminex "Alabaster". All those colours worked really well together. The whole house is painted the same.

LOL...and there's often toothpaste all over the basin and soapy handprints and splashes all over the mirror!

Next time you come to Melbourne, you'll have to treat yourself and go to "The Works" on Burwood Rd, Hawthorn...it's Bed Bath 'N Table on steroids!

Wish I was there right now Stormy. Last time we were in Melbourne for my nephew's surprise 30th in June, I went to DFO Essendon with my daughter in law and son's girlfriend while the boys were car shopping. Of course the girls ( Sandi especially) doesn't like going to homewares stores, which is annoying, this happened the last time we were there too. Funny how my son can get a new car though and I cannot get what I want. He ended up buying a Holden Monaro.
