I actually just LOL'ed at that! Knowing our storage dilemas his idea that pillows should always be able to be used for their purpose and then finding out that you keep your fit for purpose pillows in the cupboard is hilarious! I love it! hahaha You're awesome! Love your work! Jog it in for that effort. Ahhhh .... i shal dream of closets with pillow space tonight

LOl I have extra wardrobe space (ok not enough- can you ever have enough???) but you have all those gorgeous traditional features and a fabulous location.
Although if I had to give up my shoes and handbags for features and location I'm not sure which would win

I only recently bought european pillows and up until then only had our pillows on our bed - so we have our pillows plus 2 euro pillows and 1 cushion on our bed and the complaints I get - and they are always thrown onto my side of the bed.

Lol I go and basically turn down the bed and rearrange all the pillows every night. That way I know they are placed and not thrown off the bed. I also make the bed every day too- which is ok because the cushions are arranged just "so".

The vigour in which he tossed the "trinket pillows" which were on the bed in our hotel in melbourne recently made me realise, regardless of my wishes, florence broadhurst would not be making her way into our bedroom any time soon

although on the slightly digressing topic of strictly cushions, I can report susscess re couch pillows, apparently 2 per couch is a good number Yay ... what he hasnt realised is that my tomelilla couches have three pillows that serve as the back pillows for the couch MWAHAHAHAHA make that a sneaky 5 per couch . Im off to look at fabrics tomorrow - At the moment I like warwick Brighton collection in citrine:

as well as the Ipanema collection
http://www.warwick.com.au/our-collec....aspx?view=159
But I wouldnt want to stick with only these as I think that would be slightly boring. I reckon they would look cool with a tropical print cushion - like palm leaves or something and maybe an added teal velvet cushion for extra interest.

If he ever finds this thread my cover will be shot Shhhh!

Cushions are my latest addiction - I have been buying them on etsy from skinnylaminx in South Africa.

Nice one clp - just popped on and had a look - i love the cloud birds blue sky pillow: http://www.etsy.com/listing/58431343...r-40x40cm-blue

I am also a big fan of amy butler fabrics, in particular daisy chain in silver:
http://www.amybutlerdesign.com/produ...cid=41&flid=14
and august fields in dew drops and morning mist:
http://www.amybutlerdesign.com/produ...fields&flid=13

but think they are probablly still pretty girly so should really stick with ticking fabrics and textured fabrics to keep it all a bit gender neutral. My last place was pretty girly with lots of kath kidston fabrics and accessories and I liked it at first but after a few years I think I out grew it a little and wanted to tone it down and make it a little more "grown up" so I'll try to start out less girly this time then add in from there.

I have this one in grey

http://www.etsy.com/listing/67179788...-50x50cm-olive

and this one (in both red and grey)

and another one in cocoa which doesn't go as well

And she made one with the grey orla to cover a bolster cushion (and only charged me the same amount)
