Default Always Changing Decor

Do you change your decor often? Whether it be major changes and renovations or small changes. Is that you get bored or you are just striving to create the home of your dreams?

For me it is often that I see something else that I really like and that gets me thinking how can I add that to my home. I don't change furniture too often. I don't even move furniture too often. But I do change accessories and finishing touches often.

I do find decorating other people's homes - whether it be in real life or here on the forum helps curb the need for change

No I don't but then I am quite lazy. My recent change in bedlinen was the first change in many many years.

I am changing all my cushions at the moment but we're in a new house since I bought them so that doesn't seem that big a step.

Sometimes I find it expensive to be changing even the little things like cushions and throw- they all add up. But before going away I made some small changes using magazines and bits I had around the house. I wanted to remove some of the pot plants we had around so Mum didn't have to look after so many.

I sit and stare all day and think about all the changes I would make (if I were staying)......
In new house I will choose classic pieces of furniture but see it constantly evolving with accessories......

I love changing things around my home but its more to do with the fact that I bring decor items from my bedroom down and swap them with my dining room decor and get a feeling of new that way. I have decided a little bit of upcycling is my new way to add in new decor and its much easier for me to convince hubby that I am getting some new cushions when I am getting cheap material and getting them made by someone.......
I have already decided to search for a new fetaure colour for the living area as I am thinking paint will be cheap and fairly easy to change the look.

Really for the lounge area? What colour are you thinking of?

I am thinking a charcoal colour maybe even Domino....quite dark charcoal.
Just thinking I will have to change the kitchen also but the Ploughed Earth has just never truly been right for my eye so that's the thought.
What do you think? A lighter colour or maybe the kitchen could go to Neautral and we could do a gorgeous muted Safari Green for the Living?

I love both colours. They would look great. I think the house gets plenty of light so you could easily go for the Domino.
Of course we will need pictures of the finished result

Of course there will be photos, you know how much of a photo junkie I am...
Now we just all have to work on Hubby to agree to this painting job to be top of the prioritie list. He doesn't allow me to paint the enamel parts
