I'm vegan and enjoy sensational desserts without animal products. My partner makes the most decadent brownies, chocolate cake and chocolate mousse - yum! I can post the brownie recipe if you'd like.

If you want some easy bought sweets to buy in the supermarket, try the Leda products. Leda make really fabulous chocolate rum truffles!! Supermarkets always put the Leda products in the health food aisle which is pretty funny!

I don't tend to look at too many websites for recipes but I just found this one and I'm going to make a few things off this as they look great!....

When looking for nice soy milk, Vitasoy is the best in the fridge section. I like the Macro brand which is sold in Woolworths long life section. It's really nice & creamy.

Not all dark chocolate is dairy free (check the label). The best dairy free dark chocolates are sold in health food shops.

This is a sweet, quick and easy treat.
No fruit, no dairy, no wheat, can be made in 7 minutes flat.

Rice Bubbles Squares

3 tbsp margarine
approx 30 white marshmallows
1 tsp vanilla [optional]
6 cups Rice Bubbles cereal

In large saucepan melt margarine over low heat. Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted. Remove from heat. Stir in vanilla.

Add Rice Bubbles cereal. Stir until well coated.

Using lightly buttered spatula evenly press mixture into 13x9 inch pan coated with cooking spray. Cool.

Cut into 2 inch squares.

My girlfriend was telling me she made a zapple pie, yes you read right ZAPPLE, not apple. I had NO IDEA what she was on about. Apparentely zuchinni's that are grown too big are marrows, and marrows when cooked in her recipe taste just like stewed apple! Go figure! She's made an zapple pie and a crumble and is raving about them! reackons you can't tell it's not apple unless someone told you.
