Default Afternoon Tea

I am having a few friends over for afternoon tea this week. I have to decide what to serve. One friend is diabetic and another Celiac. I can get some yummy gluten free chocolate biscuits from Coles. I was thinking of some strawberries. Are you allowed to eat fruit when you are diabetic?
Should I do something savoury? Apart from the chocolate biscuits I can't think of anything tasty that is gluten free.
Any ideas?

Good idea Lanne. I know my Celiac friend can eat soft cheeses. Did you know that there is gluten in vinegar so in lots of things like sun dried tomatoes? I did a mix of olives with sun dried tomatoes last time and she couldn't touch it.

Thanks Thisisme but I am being lazy! They are staying for 5 nights and I have already made our normal xmas cake and pudding , not GF and although I may end up making a separate GF version if I can avoid this by buying a nice one I will.

DixieMum they are buy a Brand called Freedom who also do other biscuits. Some taste good and some not. But Mr18 & DH love the Triple Treat Brownies. They aren't brownies but are chocolate biscuits. Coles sell them. Also we buy Carmens Muesli Bars and Rounds.
If he is really intolerant of gluten it gets so tricky with gluten in sauces, gravies and vinegars. This will be a challenge for you

The afternoon tea went well. I decided to serve the gluten free chocolate biscuits, some gluten free friands from a local cafe, strawberries, a gluten free dip with rice crackers and carrot sticks. It was a fun afternoon but I have eaten wayyy too much.
