I'm sorry but I dont really know what you guys mean. We are building with a custom builder and it was going to take a long time as everything was measured, cut and built on site, nothing pre-frabricated and it took a hell of a long time!

Our Contract Price is very high, over $200k more than what we told our Architect our budget was. The Builder invoices us once a stage is complete and so far we have had no variances.

He has a man that will do all the cabinatry including kitchen, wir, built ins, linen, vanities, laundry etc. So I presume he got that guy to give his price and that is our allocation. The price for the built ins are $1300 - Laundry $2500 - Kitchen $17000 - from the same guy. Mind you we HAVE NOT even met this guy yet to talk about the designs:-( for each item which my Builder said is totally custom and I can do whatever I like in whatever dimensions.

We gave our builder all our finishes we want and so on, so he knows we want ceasarstone everywhere, softclose everywhere etc etc.

And there is def nothing about damages or a price per week if the build takes longer.

Funnily enough, they worked the most during the period of 20th December to 5th January.

Yeah but they can still use the clause if they go over the 45 weeks.
