White umbrellas

Hi has anyone seen where you can buy white full length umbrellas? Just to save me hobbling around the shops too much tomorrow:D

Thanks Milena I will check out that site. Yes the umbrellas are for my new umbrella stand. I was thinking white to go with the white in the room and to keep the fresh look. Plus if they are white DH won't use them. You see if he takes an umbrella from home to work it never returns. I think there is an umbrella eating monster living in his office:mad:

I will show pictures later of my entry renovation. But I decided on black umbrellas with wood handles. The wood went with the brown shades of the hall rug. And the black made more of a statement than white would have. The only problem is these are the types of umbrellas DH would take to the office:(. I was thinking of attaching GPS signals to them so they don't disappear into the unknown, like his other umbrellas do.
A tip for anyone trying to work out what colours to use for some decorating items, is to use cheap items around the home. So for the umbrellas I bought 3 pieces of card- white, black and silver. I rolled them to the size of an umbrella and put them in the umbrella stand to see which colour would work best. And to be really sure I bought the umbrellas from target and Myers - who give full cash refunds back on returned items. But for the lamp in this room I had a black shade lamp the right height. Because I thought a white shade would look best I put a white pillow slip over the black shade to help my DH visualise it. I don't know if you all go to such extremes but it helps to show my DH what I am trying to create.

lol I could not figure out what you were doing when you told me about the white pillow slip for your dh to see it:D But now it makes perfect sense and what a great idea:)
