Hi! So happy to find a forum like this, and in Aus too! We just moved into a new house and this is our 1st ever house, since we got married. That means, we got nothing, know nothing before this. The house is not big, but since it's unfurnished, we consider it really BIG for 2 of us:D We are as you might say, on a (budget) spending spree at the moment and hoping that this will settle down soon.

I have a LOT to learn in terms of decorating and furnishing the house and I must say this is a very ideal forum with sections that tackle and cover almost everything an "undomestic" woman should need help on.
