I'm going to follow Julie-Ann's lead and introduce myself.
My name is Rachel. I plan, design, develop and author websites. I specialise in content strategy and copywriting for the web. This means I research the business's industry, competitors, target market etc and work out what kind of information should be on the website, how it should be structured and what it should say.
My job means I get to work with a lot of great people and learn about a lot of different industries. I particularly like working for clients who are in the home/lifestyle fields because I harbour a secret ambition to study architecture and am planning to renovate my own home!
Right now I'm working for a kitchen and bathroom manufacturer and WA's biggest infrared sauna supplier (and some exciting things are happening there!).
I'd like to think my personal style is clean, elegant and quietly luxurious ;) I'm a sucker for natural texture - wood (marri is my favourite atm), silk, linen, wool, leather.. I love the feel, the smell, the contrast.
I'm always willing to put my 2 cents in and will happily research anything to help people out.
I'm really enjoying this forum - thank you Julie-Ann! I have learned a lot and am hoping I won't blow my budget with all your great ideas.
