Never re-mulch again. If you are like me and have too much to do I think you will like this product.
I saw this at the Perth Home Show last week. Its not a new product. It's been used in children's playgrounds for years. But this is the first time I have seen it being offered to the Residential market.
It looks exactly like mulch made from bark but it is rubber. It doesn't fade or decompose. So it lasts! It comes in 25kg bag and sells for $45 per bag from Always Greener (http://www.alwaysgreener.net.au) (the mulch isn't on their website but their contact details are).
My only concern was that I normally mulch with sheep manure which adds to the soil. But if you used liquid blood and bone I think you would still be adding plenty of nutrients to the soil. And you wouldn't have to go out to the garden to reapply the mulch. Less work - I love it!:D
