I came across this nifty little product and wanted to show you how we can be stylish and green:D
Now you may have guessed I am a little interested in all things kitchens so I am always on the lookout for ways to improve our kitchens.
With this little guy you can deposit all your food scraps for composting with style and odour free.:) The activated carbon filters in the lid prevent those unpleasant odours. It can hold up to 3.8 litres of scraps and you can even pop it in the dishwasher to give it a clean.
It doesn't take up too much bench space as it is 26.6cm H x 17.7cm D.
It comes in the white ceramic (http://www.gaiam.com.au/Product_Detail.aspx?ParentCategoryID=45&CategoryID=70&ProductID=11094) or a more contemporary stainless steel (http://www.everten.com.au/category/Everten-Online-Kitchenware.html/)

I am totally about kitchens today- have you seen the picture on our blog (http://a-very-fine-house.blogspot.com/) today? It is a kitchen by my favourite designer. Come and tell me if you love it or hate it. Don't be shy- the world would be a very boring place if we all had identical tastes:)
