Building an extension

How much would a 2nd storey extension cost? I would like to have a master suite upstairs. With a walk in robe and an ensuite with a large shower but no bath, and hopefully a sitting area where my partner and I could escape all the munchkins downstairs. Anyway this is my dream.
but how much should i expect to pay for a timber frame 2nd storey?Has anyone done this before?

We looked at this recently to put a large master suite, sitting room and another good size bedroom. It was about $240000. I believe there is a very large cost involved in just getting a 2nd storey and the amount of rooms doesn't add hugely to the cost.
