I have two large features walls l want to paint over. They are a terracotta colour and l really don't like them
They are approx 8 metres in length. The rest of the house is an off white/cream colour with brown furniture (leather and wood). There is also floor boards throughout.
Would you paint these walls a latte colour or paint them then same colour as the rest of the house?

Last year they were very out and it was all about wallpaper on feature walls.
This year not so much. I think designers recognize that they are great way to add a splash of colour.
Wallpaper is great because it not only adds colour but it can add pattern and even texture. A dramatic feature wall of wallpaper can really make a statement about your style.
Paint is a much cheaper option. You can be adventurous as it is only paint!
Keep in mind if you are selling or renting. As silly as it may seem somebody may not be interested in your property because your feature wall is blue and they like green. In this case neutral colours are best.
(see the article on popular neutral colours).
As for latte (one of my favourites) I love Dulux Warm Neutral and Dulux Toffee Fingers. It is hard to imagine anyone would have a problem with these colours and they are so sophisticated.
Good Luck!:D

Wallpaper sounds a bit too much like a commitment and too expensive.
But I had look at those 2 colours from Dulux - Warm Neutral and Toffee Fingers. I love both of them and can't decide which one. I think either of them will look great.
Which one should I choose?

I was thinking of doing a blue feature wall.
Do you have any ideas on which blue I should do?

I think Blue is a great idea. We've got an aqua feature wall in our bedroom. We did a couple of years ago when aqua with blue and white was popular but it still looks great. Sorry I don't remember the paint name.

Blue is a great choice. It is very in fashion this summer. But the beauty of blue is it is always popular. It's not one of those colours that is ever so last year!
All shades of blue are in at the moment. Check out the article on
