I have a friend who is building a new house near Melbourne and she is putting these into their attic which is going to be a sitting room and home theatre.

Then she will be covering them with these little blinds.

What do you think? Aren't they just divine! Oh how I wish I had an attic haha :)

I have admired these windows for ages. We were going to build a 2 story house a few years ago with views of a nature reserve. So we were going to make it an upside down house with the main living areas at the top and front of the house to get the views. I was going to put these windows over the dining area to capture the northern light. Maybe one day (sigh):)
I see Siobhan your friend has just joined the forum. Siobhan we would love to know what else you have planned for your house. It sounds amazing already between having an attic and these windows:D

Desperately need those in our house. We have a Sydney South facing house and we're on a slope with houses above/behind us.
The Winter the house is very dark and cold. Skylights needed.
We do however have fabulous view to make up for it :):):):)

Julie-Ann we have an upside-down house (we have close city views). But we don't have those lovely skylights :(
