Hi Coveblvd it's lovely to meet you:). I love the Coastal Hamptons style. Have you done much to your house or any plans for the future?

Hi Julie-Ann, fortunately when we bought the house though run down, had it all the right bones to make it a perfect beach house. With the water lapping about 25 mtres from the door, and a rather old beachy Qld look, I was able to get the Hamptons style up and working over a period of time. We are only two hours from Sydney, and 90 ks north of Newcastle, so have the best of both worlds.

It sounds like a piece of heaven:love it:. If you have any photos you would like to share we would love to see them. So many of us love the Hamptons style. Have you purchased anything special for the house recently? I just redid the cushions and accessories in my family room a soft blue. I only finished it yesterday so I still have to get some photos for you all.

Port stephens is so lovely, I tend to end up there a couple of times a year for sailing regattas and have always ended up staying at salamander bay. Would love to have a holiday house there one day – just so beautiful and peaceful!
