Just thought I should introduce myself and say Hi. I've been 'lurking' for a little while and taking in as much info as I can so thought it was about time I introduced myself.

I'm Kerri from Brisbane and I am VERY much a novice at decorating. We have a modest house and a very modest budget but I am slowly trying to add little 'bits and pieces' to each room to give our home a little personality.

Look forward to learning a lot from everyone on this forum and I'm sure I'll have lots of questions too!

Julie-Ann I LOVE the Hamptons/Cape Cod styles - I love all shades of blue and love the clean, crisp look of these styles.
Our house is all different shades of blue and white and beige. It's far from Hamptons Style at the moment though !

I love that style too Kerri. Our house is taupe and white. I frequently change the accent colour. I am currently changing to a pale blue. In winter I used a lot of black with it. But I do love the combination of blue, taupe and white:thumbs up:.

I should have also added that one of the reasons I like the Hamptons style is that it looks comfortable/casual and we have two little boys under 4 so we need that :) For the same reason I also really like Classic Casual :thumbs up:
