Are you a crafter, even on those rare occasions that you have free time?
What are your favourite crafts?
I like jewellery making. I don't get to do it that often and I am no where near as good as some ladies I have seen on Twitter and etsy. But I enjoy it.
I have recently seen Digital Scrapbooking which sounded very interesting.
What about you - do you enjoy doing a particular craft?

I'm definitely not laughing but thinking when can I invite you over to do some crafting together? I will make you some jewellery and you can sort out my office lol:D
Chatting on a forum may not be a craft but it is definitely a worthwhile hobby:D.

Well I make handbags, and I guess that's a craft. I do really enjoy it. If I ever get any spare time I would like to make a quilt with the off cuts of the bags I've made, as a little reminder of all the lovely fabrics that went into the bags. :)
Other than that, I am hopeless at knitting and crochet and anything that does not require a sewing machine, other than organising (as was mentioned earlier)- I'm good at that :)

I always have these "good intentions" to be more crafty and keep a folder of things I find on the net. Martha Stewart sends me an email every day with crafty stuff but I just don't make the time to do it.
Mid November I start getting into the Christmas Spirit and will sit and make Christmas stuff for weeks. I encourage my kids to make something every year to add to our already full tree, I put a little tag on it with their name and date and will pass onto them when they are married.
I love making cards and used to make and sell them to family and friends. I'm right into Bows at the moment after doing a little workshop last November :)
This is what I made last Christmas -
Noel - ended up re-doing the O and L, swapped the paper around. Timber letters from Spotlight, scrap booking paper and mod podge -

Rag Wreaths for the front doors, I made one for each door -

Tree Decorations, I cut up scrap booking paper into tiny squares and mod podged them on. Time consuming but worth it -

I love making patch work quilts, I never seem to have the time to do it with 3 small children and and online home decor store but all the same quilting is what I love. When I was living at Twin Peaks Station in the Murchison (Midwest WA) I made a log cabin super king size quilt (as we slept on two single beds pushed together and I wanted to cover them). It was suprisingly easy and looks wonderful I am still amazed that my brain and hands had something to do with it!! :p

I was doing alot of scrapbooking but haven't done any for ages. I really should do some since I have boxes and boxes full of consumables for it.
I want to learn how to sew. Mum brought me a sewing machine a while back and I was too scared to use it so it just sat there. She needed another for my Dad's work house when she visited rather then taking her good one so I gave it back but now the baby is coming I want to make some things so she has promised to bring it back when she visits ... hopefully thats soon. We live in Melbourne and they live in Northern NSW though :(
I also want to do more craft with the kids.
