This product may not change your life - but if your cat uses a litter tray - it will make your life a little less smelly:o:D.
The odour from a litter tray can be extremely unpleasant. Our new cat Monty likes to do his business at 6am every morning. The odour that wafts through from the laundry is enough to make me jump out of bed and clean his tray. And believe me not much can get me out of bed that early:o.
But I have since discovered cat litter made from wheat. I bought this brand Wonder Wheat (http://www.wonderwheat.com.au/index.php?option=com_content&view=frontpage&Itemid=1) from City Farmers. I wouldn't say it is odour free. But the odour doesn't hit you until you are in the laundry and then it isn't quite as bad as before. I haven't tried flushing it as I prefer to place it in bags that you use for disposing nappies, and then in the rubbish bin outside.
I would definitely recommend it - I have managed to sleep in every morning this week:thumbs up:

I use a similar product JA, but it is in the stock feed section. Called Vegetarian Crumble, was recommended by our breeder. And it comes in a mighty big 25kg bag for $20! My only complaint is kitty Priscilla still manages to flick it everywhere!

Lol Monty kicks everywhere too. I was thinking of changing his tray to those type with the rim around the edge. Has anyone tried these?

Our special pet decided to use the pot plant at the front door. Initially it was for number ones only, which was OK, but one day he decided to use it for number twos. Before I had a chance to rectify the awful odour, I had the census person come, and stand there talking to me - I was so embarrassed. After he left I hot-footed it to Bunnings to buy smooth pebbles to layer over the pot's surface, to prevent said cat from doing that again.

Oh Cherylle that is so embarrassing but very amusing:D. A good solution to use the smooth rocks:thumbs up:. My very first cat liked to use indoor pot plants for number ones too. Especially when we had real Christmas Trees. We ended up covering the soil with Glad Wrap to stop her.
