We put timber blinds in our lounge and dining rooms last year. I have tried cleaning them a few times but it takes hours. I have tried a cloth with warm soapy water. Is there an easier way:(

Rosy I have the same problem with aluminium blinds that I have all through the house. I tried a gadget that like 3 arm tongs and you could supposedly do 2 blades at a time. I found it was so fiddly that it took even longer and it didn't even clean well. I bet you there is some Enjo product that you and I don't know of:D.

Is this the Enjo Dust Flexi Lorraine?

Is it quick and easy to get in between the blades? And does it give it a good clean - or is that a silly question when it is an Enjo product?

Julie-Ann, the Enjo Dust Fibre is more of an orange colour, they also have the same colour in a dust glove which does a great job. It is quick and easy to get in between the blades. And no it wasn't a silly question to ask. :)
It is a pity Enjo cannot be bought online, you are supposed to have a party, I first bought mine maybe 9 years ago without having a party.

What if we had an online party- do you think they will agree to that?:D
How did you get without the party?

:D Of course they will agree to that.
I actually sent an email through Enjo, a lady contacted me, she said to me that I was supposed to have a party, I told her I didn't want to and had no time, she said that was okay and sold me the product anyway. I think bought the start off pack to begin with. :D

I think if they let us have an Enjo party here on the forum they would make a fortune:D. Anybody know an Enjo lady?

No I don't anymore. The Enjo lady I used to have is supposed to have retired. Maybe you could send an email to Enjo, they are based in Perth.:)

I'm with Lorraine, I have one of those orange dust fibre's for my floor. Our floor is timber laminate and the colour is Wenge so every bit of dust shows but I go around every night (should have put that in the Hung Up thread :)) and it picks everything up. Then I shake the fibre outside and it's all done.

A friend had some timber shutters installed and I folded the fibre over and dusted them off for her - worked great.

Hi, I was just looking on this forum and noticed your comments regarding Enjo. I'm an Enjo consultant in Perth, my name is Tania. I am happy to help you out with any Enjo product you wish to purchase and am happy to sell either via a demo or individually.
Demos are very beneficial to the host, you only need a minimum of 3 people, but obviously the more people the better it is for the host. The flexi, and the floor cleaner that are mentioned are host rewards, and an average demo would get at least one of those for free plus approx $80 worth of other product.
I understand that demos might not be everyones cup of tea, so for those that just want to purchase direct that is fine too.

Let me know if you are interested.... Thanks

If you are planning to buy a brand new set of timber blinds to put on your windows, it would only do you good to know that this type of blinds have many benefits. These blinds are relatively simple to place, give emphasis to your home’s décor and are energy efficient as well.

I hate cleaning our timber blinds especially the ones in the kitchen which get grease and dust which is hardest to clean..... I was told not to use water as they are timber and might swell (from memory I was wanting to take them off and pressure clean with the karcher LOL)

I don't think the Karcher is a good idea RR:eek:

The best thing I found for the wooden ones was a dryer sheet ... Yeah. Really.

Worked wonders... Cut em into half or thirds and slide them along... Great job and they needed cleaning less often
