Whilst shopping in Kikki K last week I saw these 2 brilliant products that I just had to show you.
For all of you who are planning to build a home or an extension the first product is the My Dream Home Folder. The folder itself is very pretty but inside it is just as good. There are tabs for each of the major areas of your garden with a plastic sleeve for each section. You can easily add more plastic sleeves. It would be a great way to keep all the photos and ideas for your home in one place.

The second product is Adhesive Notes for sticking in your magazines. They come with 5 different titles at the top of the sticky. There are stickies for the Kitchen, Bathroom, Bedroom, Living, Office and Outdoor. I might need several packets of these. It's a great way to be able to find that special picture so easily without having to resort to ripping out magazine pages.

I wish I did have a local Kikki-K store, I seem to miss out on everything. At least I can purchase online with them. :)

Do they have any nice stores for you in your town? No Kikki K or Freedom- how is a girl supposed to survive?:D:D
Next you will tell me you don't have Ikea:eek:

LOL!!! How did you guess that Julie-Ann. No stores like that at all. That is one reason I get my clothes from Melbourne, as there is nothing decent here and you don't want to run into someone who has the same oufit as you.

Happy shopping:D

Where do you live Lorraine? I grew up in a small town - not even a Coles, and everything shut at 5pm, including the petrol station etc. Know where you're coming from :)

I live in country Victoria........Mildura. Our Coles supermarket has 24 hour shopping. Boy lucky us......NOT!!!! I would rather a Freedom store here. We do have Harvey Norman, in saying that though the store concentrates mainly on computers and white goods now, not a very large variety of furniture to look at.

Gee, and I would have thought Mildura was 'large enough' to support some business!! My hometown has a pop'n of just over 3,000!!! 30,000 would have seemed massive to me :D

I must say, I think i've got used to living in Melbourne now. Not that I use everything all the time .. but knowing I *can* makes all the difference, i'm sure.

But one of my vices is trawling R.E.com.au and stalking my own hometown etc, and I must say, all the furniture in the homes for sale is just awful and dated. With only one ( old fashioned ) retailer in town ... I can see how people just give in to the path of least resistance .. poor buggers... freight from the 'big city' would be prohibitive for most !!

Mildura may be large enough to support some business BUT it does not like change. There are a lot of old fuddy duddy's who live here. There have also been a few businesses that come to Mildura, they don't stay long as local's don't support them.
When we actually changed our business name from KreuzControl Irrigation to Think Water Mildura about 19 months ago now there were rumours going aroound here that we had to close. One lady actually told a guy who works for us, she had heard we had gone bankrupt. BUT bought a PUB.........go figure that one out.

I grew up in Melbourne, I have a sister and brother who live in Melbourne, plus my son and his wife live in Melbourne now. They moved down there six years ago, Jason ( my son ) is a pilot. :) I miss the shopping. I love to go to DFO when we can get to Melbourne. :)
