What color paint to use?

We are redecorating and wanting to paint the walls a neutral colour, the same as currently used in most of the show homes. Do you know what the name of this colour is? :confused:

Have a look at the paints named here and see if any look similar to what you have seen. Grab a sample card of that colour and take it with you next time you are visiting display homes, and hopefully you can see which one matches.

Or if any of these colours appeal to you, get a sample pot and try it out. Paint is so affected by light that a colour that looks good in one home may not look good in another home.

Ive often found the paints used in display homes are often kept in the pantry ,probably for touch ups. So have a look in the cupboards,pantry etc and you might find the answers that you need.
