I might have found an alternative!
Yesterday I called in to one of my favourite light shops (Ideal Lighting, High Rd, Willetton) just to see what was new.
The guys were showing me an alternative to the energy saving fluoro that the government wants us to use. It is an energy saving halogen that looks like an ordinary incandescent light bulb. :)
You are still saving energy as it uses only 42watts to give you 60watts of light.
They come in the pearl finish as well.
But the best bit for those of us who have chandeliers (I have always thought I girl can never have too many crystal chandeliers) is they also do candle versions and the small round globes.
The brand is Enduro Elite. Hopefully your favourite light shop will also sell them.
So now I have to find a place to plug this bulb in and take it for a test drive. I will let you know how it goes.
