Hi All

My name is Meryl and we are building our new family home in south Fremantle. We started this process coming up three years ago and are now hopefully on the final leg of this journey. I consider our new home a mix of contemporary and organic. I am always looking for suggestions and ideas in which we can maintain the mix of both styles.

Anyone who has any suggestions where to find a antique french provicial table for our cellar in WA would be greatly received. We are looking for something that we are prepared to restore so as to keep the spending of the dollars to a minimum.

Also anyone who knows of a creative person who specializes in window furnishings as some of our ceiling lines are not the standard run of the mill.

Looking forward to sharing different ideas with you all.

Cheers
MM ( Miss Meryl)

Hi Miss Meryl, I love South Fremantle.....my Mum is that way and she looves the location.:thumbs up:
I have seen some beautiful Jimmy Possum tables that have a parquetry top that would suit that French Organic Feel........
Can't wait to follow your progress and what a great time to join the forum....decorating time:love it:
Window furnishings.... I have found Blinds by design and someone like Sandy from Sandys Designs here (http://www.sandysdesigns.com.au/curtains.html) should be able to help.......
Lovely to meet you and chat soon.

Hi Miss Meryl it's lovely to meet you and welcome:).
South Fremantle is such a gorgeous location. I am sure you will be very happy with your new home. When you are ready why not show us your plans and selections so far on the My Build/Renovation forum.
We don't have a huge range of antique stores here in Perth:(. But here are a few suggestions:
Goodwood Antiques, Myaree
North Perth Antiques, Fitzgerald St
