Coffee beans

I love fresh coffee, and may only have a total of 5 a week, so when I do have a cup it has to be worth the effort.
If I have a great cuppa in a coffee shop I sometimes by their coffee, but if never tastes the same.
Can anyone recommend some great tasting coffee beans.
Living on the Gold Coast I'm not short of coffee shops and I haveat least 7 or 8 favs - but that's the expensive way!!

I like a mild coffee so like the coffee from the Coffee Club but my DH doesn't like it.
My mum likes Vittoria Uno which I am going pick up this weekend. I will let you know what we think:)

Hi Susie

I buy my coffee beans from 5Senses (and they deliver!). Remember coffee beans are stale 2-3 weeks after roasting and 2-3 minutes after grinding.

Unless you have a good espresso machine and very good grinder (the grinder is very very important) and you're buying your beans fresh, it won't taste anything close to a good cafe. Sorry.

I have 3ish coffees a day but am trying to cut down!
