Help - rust spots in my pool

Does anyone have any tips on how to remove rust spots from a fibreglass swimming pool.
We bought some cheap furniture from k mart a year or so ago and with all the rain the legs rusted, then the wind blew the pieces of rust into the pool and now we have these rust spots on the bottom of our pool.
Is there any product that will remove these or is there a touch up paint that I can use?? Or do I have to get a professional in
I will try anything. So far we have tried jif, but no luck there.

Hi Susie,

Firstly, is the pool empty? If so, you could try rubbing the spots (if they are relatively small?) with lemon. I know it works on fabric, so it may work on the pool, worth a try. If not, I'm sure there would be something that you could buy from the pool store that could help.

I think Lisa is right it might be best to ask at the pool shop. You wouldn't want to put anything on it that would damage the fibreglass in anyway.
Let us know what they say in case somebody else gets the same problem:)
