Bamboo Furniture - is it suitable for Outdoors?

Hi, ive found some lovely bamboo furniture for my back deck, im just wondering if anyone has any or has had some and how it holds up to weather conditions genreally. I wouldnt leave it out side all the time, but it would be in the sun a little at weekends, when we relax after gardening etc.

I d like to know if it deteriorates quickly or if looked after well will last for a few years.

I havent bought bamboo furniture before, and would just like a little advice before i invest.

is the deck covered - that might help keep it safe from sun damage.
Bamboo and cane were always popular in sun rooms so think it might be OK!

I agree with Anastasia - Bamboo would last longer if it were under a covered deck. Bamboo would not last outside where I live way too hot!!!!
