Hi my name is Hel and I am currently attempting to finish the renovations my partner started on his bachelor pad over 4 years ago. About a year ago I had had enough of nothing getting done on the house and insisted that his mates move out of the place so we could move in and get it finished. The place was and still is to a degree a disaster...each weekend and evening after work I do a little more...but it is incredibly overwhelming sometimes...especially choosing colours and tiles etc etc...so it will be great to read through other peoples ideas and suggestions on here :)

You know what they say "if you want something done - do it yourself":D.
Good on you for getting in there and doing it.
If you want a sounding board or help with any of your projects there are many creative people on the forum happy to help.
A few of us have started a new thread under Home Decorating Forum about the project we are working on at the moment. Mine is my entry. It would be great if you started a thread on your current project and we can all share in your progress:D.

so sorry it took so long but i am here.
love the site and will have a good look around and get a few ideas for my house .Next is painting my kitchen -neutral colour i think.
