Hey guys, I am an Interior Designer that is currently on a bit of a hiatus, concentrating on Mummy duties......
I am currently building (3rd build) and renovating(5th reno)......yes we are renovating the house we are living in while we are building;) with a 2 year old.
I have 8 years experience and love sharing ideas with other designers......it seems to build on the wealth of knowledge and you can never learn to much.
I will be getting back into business hopefully within the year...if another bub doesn't become priority:)
Anyway I look forward to meeting everyone and hopefully we can share more ideas.....

Hi, and welcome to the forum. Nice to see another Interior Designer on this forum. I am a mum of two 9 year olds. I am planning to study Interior Design starting mid-year and we are going to build our 3rd home as well hopefully very soon :) It must be tough renovating with a 2 year old.
Looking forward to sharing ideas on Interior Decorating :)

Thanks Milena, I never realised just how organised and co-ordinated we would have to be trying to plan everything around sleeping, eating and playing but we have done it and it goes to show just how resiliant children are.....I have been uber vigilant in keeping everything else routine so its not such a big deal if the house is in kaos, my poor ocd mind is on holiday thank goodness....
It will be great studying with this wealth of knowledge around you.

Hi Elements it is lovely to meet you. I agree with you we are continuously learning. It is great to have others to bounce ideas of. I am so confident when I am doing a client's home but I tend to question myself with my own projects.
I thought we were mad building & renovating with a 10 year old but a 2 year old is certainly a challenge. I can't wait to see what you are working on:D. Thanks for joining.
