Inexpensive art

Our new home will be finished soon and I have been trying to plan out how to decorate.I want to put some art or pictures on the walls but everything is so expensive. Does anyone know where I could buy something a little more affordable? Building the new house means things are a little tight at the moment.

Maybe try ebay. I know your probably thinking tacky but hey you might find somethink that fits your budgets. Or even check the quokka paper, you never know what you might come across.

Im not sure if Ikea has much art I cant say Ive actually come across that in there. It really comes down to what your after.

Hi, have you tried Fabric Wall Art. :):)

Its really easy to make yourself, a lot less than buying ready made. I have a link on my blog as to how to make fabric wall art. I have lots of Marimekko canvases, big and bold, but there are fabrics for all tastes and pockets.

A blank canvas would cost approx $25 for 100cm x 100cm and 1.25 metres of fabric to cover would cost anything from $15 upwards.

have you tried etsy? a lot of artists sell their work through there and the artists I have seen have very reasonable prices.
I don't know what kind of art you're into this is a seller that I have bought art from:
