Window coverings

So the guy came and quoted for the flyscreens yesterday $2000 for each set of french doors. It is expensive but they did look real good in the brochures so we decided to get them.
But now we are stuck with how it is best to cover them. I don't want vertical blinds. so the screens will slide from each side across the front of the french doors and the french doors open outwards. What do you think would look best?

I am gald you are happy! I knew they would not be cheap, but are well worth the investment! Romans, or hollands, or sunscreen (or vision) blinds might look good. But they will need to be mounted high so you can pull them right up.

This is hard, Im still trying to figure out what kind of blinds/curtains to put up in our living area. I really hate verticals they are just so ugly. So I'll be in tune to see some feedback.

Would romans look good too with windows that follow through to floor level?

first thing i would do is negotiate...and keep going until you knuckle him down

every little helps and unlike Bing Lee most people are negotiable

I think I would like to take you shopping with me abeachcottage, I'm not very good at negotiating. Who is Bing Lee?
I thought of Roman blinds on the doors but now the screens will be on the sides of the door I think I need something that covers the whole wall. I thought normal curtains might not work as you have to completely open them up to go out. I have seen those sunscreen blinds on small windows. Do they look any good going across a whole wall?

You will have to draw us a picture, or take a photo of the wall and all the doors etc, so I can get it in my head :) I think curtains would be too much, not sure? The sunscreen blinds are great. You can have them roll up, or panel across. How much room do you have above the doors for romans to sit up there?

I have been out looking at blinds and I have narrowed it down to, 2 of the vision blinds that roll up or the vision blinds as panels. We have room for the blinds to sit above the doors and then they would be out of the way. So maybe that is the best choice. But the panels looked very modern, which I really like too. It is really a hard decision there are so many choices:D
