Have you or someone you know ever had sisal carpet?
I normally use cut twist pile carpet because it doesn't flatten or crush as easily as other carpets I have had. But the carpet supplier for the holiday/beach house I am doing in Esperance is recommending sisal.
I am wondering though does sisal flatten or crush easily? Or does it stay looking good for a good amount of time?
I appreciate any help if you have any experience with sisal:).

I have sisal carpet and it's ok. I wouldn't say it was lush, but I only went with a cheap version. I assume if you went with a quality underlay it would feel much softer. I've got a couple of stains on my carpet but usually once I get the carpet cleaner in, he tends to get them out. If I didn't have kids though I wouldn't have that problem.

Lol but how dull life would be without the kids making a mess.:D
Can you see easily where the main walk ways are Nqmummy? You know how with lots of carpets the fibres are flattened from where everyone walks. And no amount of vacuuming lifts it up.

*races off to have a look* Nope, you can't see any wear at all. It's only slightly dirtier where we walk more often (we have a dark beige colour). I've had the carpets for about 5 years so it's holding up really well.

Thanks so much for that information Nqmummy:kiss:. It will be good to know in the future.
After all this when the carpet company went to the house today they said the cut twist pile carpet colours go better with the floor tiles than the sisal. So we are off to check out samples of the cut twist pile carpet instead.
