Im on a big hunt this week, and havent been able to find the chairs Id like at the price id like.
The chairs are are imitation whicker, pvc plastic, with arms and a seat cushion.
Im looking for chocolate brown or cream. They are suitable for undercover and outdoor, and will withstand heat and water.
We have them in our RSL club, and have tried looking for a tag or label, all but turning the chair upside down to see who made it he he!!, so far i have seen similar in bunnings, but they look quite cheap and are with a lounge and table set, which i dont want, i d like them for dining with my new stone dining table, ive seen dining chairs in this plastic whicker but not with arms (to get comfy in after eating).
Any info on these would be greatly appreciated.:):)

I know what you mean, I have seen them.
I was in KMart today, there are similar ones in there but same thing, they are part of a set
How about IKEA, might be worth a trip

Ikea have some in a dining chair and a sofa style. They had a corner unit and a straight unit but i have only seen the corner unit there lately and they have removed the matching table from the dining line up. It was brown and cream, woven together to make a light brown from a distance.

Hi Susie
If you have seen exactly what you like at the local RSL I would just ask the manager where they bought them from. I'm sure he won't mind telling you. You will probably find they have bought them from a chair wholesaler. So even if he doesn't know look up the Yellow Pages for furniture wholesalers. I am sure you will find many that specialise in chairs for restaurants, and most of them have websites.
When you find the wholesaler you can approach them as a person operating a Homewares business- which you do. They will probably be happy to sell to you direct (which can be a huge saving:D).
Let us know how you get along:)

Hey Susie, I was thinking about you yesterday... funny since I don't even know you. LOL. Anyway, I was at Westfield and they had an outdoor furniture display and had those chairs you're talking about - they sell them at Myer. Hope this helps.

Thank you, i found some chairs, i had a couple of hours to myself at the weekend and popped up to Bundall, and i was over whelmed with these chairs, didnt think they were so popular, im not sure now whether i like them as much. I went in to about 4 garden furniture shops looking for something a little special, I shall keep searching.
