Well, it's been a while since Julie-Ann has been hassling me on twitter - i'd often reply to something, only to have Julie reply that it was a forum question, would I mind answering it there for those not on twitter?

But yeah, you know, busy, stuff :) But here I am now, months later ! :)

My name's Leanne. I'm a Lifestyle Photographer ( family, babies, pets, natural surroundings etc ) from Melbourne and this is my 3rd house that I have owned ( after numerous rentals ). It is also my FINAL home, and thus, much more thought is going into it than our other projects, that have been renovated to sell in the shortterm.

I'm a wife, mother ( 2 boys, 6 and 2 ) and i'm almost 40! Yikes!

We're doing our house piecemeal, as we always do, and parts of it ourselves, where we can ( we enjoy it ! ). It's a solid brick 1930's home with an early 80's extention ( BLEAH! ). So far we've landscaped the front yard, re-fenced, reno'd a bathroom ( featured in the Herald-Sun! ) and basically cleared a lot of previous-owner JUNK. we've been here 4yrs.

You can see some pics on my flickr: http://www.flickr.com/photos/house-n-baby/sets/72157600058306544/ .. but I haven't updated in a LONG time due to work committments ( you don't take a lot of photos for yourself when you do it day-in/day-out for others :)

What else?
Hmm, please ask!

Oh - and we are in the middle of making our front room pretty, and i've been promised a new kitchen for 2010, so we will see .. we will see :)

xx

Hi Leanne
Welcome to the Decorating Forum. I'm so glad my encouraging (nagging) you to join has finally got you to come and check us out. My DH and my tradesmen do say nagging is one of my finest skills:D
I loved your pictures- the boys rooms were gorgeous but the bathroom was spectacular. I love using round mirrors to add a bit of interest.
I have actually just spent the last half hour looking at all your lovely photos. I think my favourite is the laundry powder, step and red shoe- too cute:) As the mum of a boy that 1 red shoe said so much like "Mum- I stepped in a puddle of mud".
Do you have a website for your work or a Facebook Page?
I hope you enjoy the forum and come and chat here with us regularly.
