Hi everyone so with the start of a fresh new year the question is what decorating, renovating or building plans do you have for 2010?
Let's hope you are planning something exciting:D.
I didn't make much progress on my decorating in the last half of 2009. I am still working on repainting the picture frames in the entry to a fresh modern silver finish. And then I will be looking for a new mirror for that space. But I did change the silk flowers on the hall table, so that was one achievement.
Then our next plan is to redecorate the Master Bedroom from a white fresh look to a chocolate sultry look.
But this weekend my DH will be repainting Mr16's bathroom. After only 6 years the ceilings are peeling. Probably as a result of showers being too long:mad:.
I can't wait to hear your plans.:)

Yes the joys of 2010... Well We are building Hooray, So the excitement has definitly hit, I keep having dreams about what new furniture Im going to need to buy.
And hopes it going to look as beautiful as I have picture in my mind.
Well Have decided to do the 2 course redbrick with the cream border thru it and cream slay sills. We have the double door front entry being jarrah and glass. The roof is woodland grey as well as gutters and cream fascias and cream window trims, My hubby decided to cut the garage to make it a carport more country he says, dont know how he got me on that one in some ways I wish I dug my heels in and said no way. But oh well, The carport poles are jarrah stained with from the hip down is piler of cream border followed by the red brick. I really hope the jarrah stained poles look ok, I was going to go cream but hubby decided to follow it through with jarrah look to match the front entry. Im hoping it doesnt look too much, with the red brick.
As we are having the decking out the back to. Hmmm Oh, the decesions. Pad goes down in 2 weeks YaY.
Same my scanner has died I could of uploaded my plans.
Anyhow to a exciting 2010.

Your house sounds like it is going to be lovely. And perfect for the country side. My DH's aunty lives in Chittering and has a lot of jarrah poles on her house as well. Personally, I think it looks very country and will suit your location. I am with you on the garage though but that is because I am a security nut- our house is like Fort Knox:D
Next time you need to settle a family disagreement (regarding building) post it here and we will put it to a poll. Hopefully you will win every time:). It is a handy way to settle those matters- have you read about my disagreement (http://www.decoratingforum.com.au/showthread.php/flat-sheets-poll-171.html?t=171&highlight=flat+sheets)with Mr16?
Keep us up to date with your building plans. Maybe start a thread just about your house that you can update.

I'm so excited that I have finally made a start on my picture frames. i pulled myself off the couch and have completed the sanding and wiping of them. Already to undercoat them tomorrow:D
I have 1 large frame and 3 smaller frames to do.
The first picture is the garish gold colour they are now and the second picture is after my hard work sanding in all those little grooves.
