Do you have something in particular that people often comment on when they first visit your home? That one thing they compliment.
Mine is my bed, which is surprising to me as it no where near my favourite item. But it does get lots of compliments. Which is what made me stop and think recently that maybe it's not so bad and I should keep it.

What about in your home?

People aways comment on and sit on my round couch. We call it the snuggle chair...it is great for two people! This photo is a bit dark but gives you an idea of what it looks like. I bought it seven years ago...it was love at first sight when I spotted it the furniture shop window. Still love it :)

Oh that looks so inviting Beverley. I would love to snuggle up with my hubby on a chair like that:love it:.

I saw a couch similair to that in Harvey Norman but not half as cute as yours.

Beverley, what a wonderful space you have! I can imagine curlying up on that couch, warm tropical breeze floating into the room and thinking to myself...life could not be better:love it:

At the moment I dont really have anything special but most people tend to comment on the same thing, our view.

Gorgeous couch and view. I have kept everything simple in our house so the view takes center stage. People do comment on our gas log fire. Might have to buy a few special things for the next house.

I love your bed Julie-Ann and your round couch Beverley!

People tend to comment on our floorboards (polished solid spotted gum) and our view of the city. Oh and my Herman Miller chair!

I have to agree Rachel - I have noticed your floorboards in pictures and admired them.
You have a lovely view Abigail, I guess you will miss that.
What's your view of Mrs B?

In my house, they normall comment on the timber floors (I agree, they're a beatiful colour) and the main study area. They're just amazed at how open and accessible it is. That's the part of the house I absolutely HATE, because, it's OPEN and so you'd have to keep it neat most of the time, which can be difficult with 3 kids. Oh, and a husband!

I could never cope with an open office NMF- you must work very hard to keep that presentable. Well done:thumbs up:.
