I am possibly the worst person when it comes to deciding on paint colours:o

I just can not decide what to do with our main room.

Sorry far from the best pic, its just a guide. I have wanted to sand all the furniture and paint it white but hubby hates the thought LOL.

I love my suit still, trendy or not. And I like my lamps too. Ignore the quilt cover.

Ive thought and decided on many colours but then something changes my mind again. Ive narrowed it down to blue-brown combo, white-green combo, and possibly a light brown-goldish feel.

Ive done the mood boards, Ive done the colour around the room. Ive flicked thru mag after mag and spent hours in ratemyspace for inspiration. I just cant decide...Ive been thinking this over for 12 months. I'm at the point of just pulling the colour out of a hat....but then I worry I wont be happy LOL...how do I decided?

Im sure if someone just did it all for me and I came home to a new room I probably wouldnt care what colour it was ha ha ha

I think your bed would look superb painted white. I remembered people talking about painting a similar bed (http://www.decoratingforum.com.au/showthread.php/bedroom-furniture-needs-79.html?t=79).
I understand about the deciding thing. I stood there in Adairs today just frozen with indecision. There were so many gorgeous options. I'm very decisive with others but very hesitant with my own house.
So what colours do you and hubby both like that might be suitable for the bedroom?
How feminine is he happy for the bedroom to be?

He is FAR from allowing anything feminine. He didn't even like the bed set we bought 8yrs ago LOL.
I make him out to sound domineering but I just like to be fair. I would hate to not have a say...but darn its flippen hard.
Im sure once the furniture wears down or my neck heals I will get to paint it white!
He hasnt really answered re colours....think he just wants it done with lol

What happened to your neck dapadills? too much DIY? Hope it soon feels better! My hubby bought a doona set one time it was prison green sheets and that was awful. But the Spootty greeny browny black doona cover was nice. To be fair, he did buy a Ken Done SSOmething by the Sea. Basic PINK (bright) with little colourful yachts on it..Could have been flowers by the sea. We still have most of the set after 23 years!

I get it - you want him to feel this is his home too. That's very reasonable:).

Your hubby seems drawn to red in other rooms. Maybe you could do a beachy feel using white, navy and red as the 10% accent colour? Do you like beachy?

savelakealbert: I was in an MVA in April. Have nerve damage causing migraines, weekness in hand and now other issues creeping in down my left side.
Also soft tissue damage which keeps happening.

Julie-Ann: NO MORE RED PLEASE ha ha ha....

Funny story I thought I had it all decided the other day....but saw something else a few days latter and still no where near a decision :D
