When tiling floor to ceiling in bathrooms, would you recommend doing all the tiling first and then adding vanities? Or would you consider this to be a waste of money as you won't be able to see the tiling behind vanities/cabinetry anyway?

I havent done my bathroom yet, but with my laundry i tiled the whole wall behind the tub and washing machine. I thought just incase later on something needs to be moved or what-not then at least i dont have to hunt around years later to find matching tiles or in worse case re-tile the whole wall if i couldnt find anything to match.
I think its just a personal choice i guess?

Normally the tiler comes in after the cabinetmaker. I get Miss S's reasons for tiling first in a laundry but in bathroom you are not likely to move your vanity. So save the money and then we can help you spend it somewhere else in the house:D

Woo hoo. We get to save money! Thanks for that :)
We are gonna have cabinetry/benchtop in the laundry as well so we might save on tiling there as well.
