I'm after ideas on how to dress our house so it will hopefully sell quickly.
Any ideas for kitchen, bathroom living areas and bedrooms I need help
I'm happy to do a bit of painting. The walls at the moment are all a cream colour.
If anyone has some good ideas I would love to hear them.:D

What did you do?

Depersonalize the home by removing family photos etc. Then people viewing the house can imagine it as their own.
The same goes for style, try keep things neat, clean, inviting and neutral/warm because the viewers can imagine their own furniture in your home. So that means de-cluttering and even rearranging furniture, and inexpensively adding a few touches here and there to give each room a bit of style. (Textures make people want to touch things and make your home more inviting, people also feel a little more connected to the home they're viewing, so maybe a luxurious throw on the lounge or a unique runner on your dining table etc)
Fresh flowers will help add a nice touch and a lovely smell too:)

This may be a personal thing but the smell of roasting coffee is always a turn on for me! It's very homely. It sounds silly but if you can make a pot in the kitchen before people arrive it will be more effective than just room perfume.
